Why Cleanertile
A damp patch on the ceiling is a symptom. The cause might be a cracked tile, lifted flashing, a blocked valley or a chimney that needs repointing — and guessing wrong means paying twice. We get on the roof, find the actual problem and quote for that.
How it works
Call, text or send the callback form with a rough idea of the problem. A photo of the roof from the ground helps but is not essential.
We come out, get up and look properly, and tell you what is actually wrong — not just what is visible from the street.
A clear, itemised price with a realistic start date. No pressure, and nothing hidden in the small print.
We turn up when we say we will, keep you posted, and take every bit of old roofing and waste away with us.

Roof repairs & maintenance
Most of the roofs around Sunbury-on-Thames are concrete or clay tile on houses that are fifty to a hundred years old. They do not fail all at once — they lose a tile here, a bit of ridge mortar there, and grow a carpet of moss that holds water against the surface all winter.
An inspection and a few hours of roof repairs every few years keeps the water out and puts off the day you need a new roof. We do the small stuff gladly: slipped tiles, re-bedded ridges, cleared gutters, moss removal, a new cowl on a chimney.
Where we work
We are based in Sunbury-on-Thames and work right across the borough of Spelthorne — Shepperton, Ashford, Staines-upon-Thames, Stanwell and Laleham — as well as Feltham, Hanworth, Hampton and Twickenham on the London side, and Walton-on-Thames, Molesey, Hersham, Weybridge and Esher across the river.
If you are searching for a roofing contractor near you and your postcode starts TW, KT12–KT13 or the Staines side of TW18–TW19, we cover you. Larger jobs we will travel further for — just ask.
Questions, answered
The questions we get asked most about roof repairs, new roofs and re-roofing around Sunbury-on-Thames.
It depends on what is wrong and how easy the roof is to get at. Re-fixing a few slipped tiles or re-bedding a short run of ridge is a small job; tracing a leak through failed flashing or a rotten valley takes longer. Scaffold or a tower, if the height needs it, is the other big variable.
We look at the roof first and give you a written price before any work starts. Quotes are free and there is no obligation.
A handful of slipped or cracked tiles, a leak at the chimney or a worn ridge are repairs. If tiles are failing all over the roof, the underfelt is torn or rotten wherever you look, or you have already paid for several patch repairs in a few years, re-roofing is usually the better-value option.
We tell you which one you actually need. We are not going to sell you a new roof to fix a slipped tile.
Yes. Quotes and roof inspections across Sunbury-on-Thames and the surrounding areas are free and no-obligation. Call 07495 771040 or use the Request a Callback form and we will arrange a time to look at the roof.

We prioritise active leaks. Tell us where the water is coming in and we will get out as soon as we can to make it watertight, then agree the proper repair. In heavy weather a temporary fix is sometimes the first step, with the permanent work done once the roof is dry.
Pitched roofs in concrete tile, clay tile, plain tile and slate; flat roofs in felt, EPDM rubber and GRP fibreglass; plus the chimneys, lead flashing, fascias, soffits and guttering that go with them. Houses, extensions, garages, porches and outbuildings.
Yes — it is in the name. We remove moss and algae from tiled roofs by hand and low-pressure soft wash, never by jet wash, and treat the surface to slow regrowth. Because a roofer is doing it, any damaged tiles get spotted and can be fixed on the same visit.
Like-for-like repairs do not. Replacing more than a quarter of a roof's covering, or a new roof on an extension, generally falls under Building Regulations, mainly for insulation and structure. We build to the regulations as standard and will tell you up front if a job needs notifying to Spelthorne Borough Council's building control.
